Ubuntu Ideology - African Philosophy

Ubuntu (oo-boon-too), is a sub-Saharan African ethic that focuses on people's allegiances and relations with each other with a true humanitarian spirit that makes us more than just living beings, but makes us Human Beings. It is humanity towards others. If it was not for other people, we would aptly lack that human factor that makes us so. The African statment(in Nguni languages), "Umuntu ngumuntu ngabantu", could not have summed it up better. It means, a person is a person because of other persons. I am, because we are. It is, the human spirit.
Respect.
